Our Guarantee to Job Seekers

Paige is very different from most staffing services today.

Since 1964 our roots and our speciality has always been Direct Hire (formerly 'permanent' placement), but because our industry has changed dramatically over the last twenty years, we now include Temp-to-Hire, Contract and Temporary positions within our scope of services.

Next to home and family, your job/career is probably the most important thing in your life. And for our clients, the staff they assemble is one of the most valuable assets they have. We work very hard to bring the right job seeker together with the right client to create a lasting relationship to the benefit of all involved. For this match, our client pays Paige a one-time fee for you, the job seeker.

We understand that in this extremely difficult job market, jobseekers do not have the luxury to be led around by empty promises or have false expectations. And, since there is never a fee to the job seeker at Paige, what do we want from you?

We are asking for your understanding, your patience, a few hours of your time and a spirit of partnership in this tough economy.

Here is what happens once you send us your resume:

- We cannot respond to every resume we receive for right now. We know you hate that and we hate it too, which is why we are working to change it. Our new website will debut early in 2011 and will include a “guaranteed response” for every resume we receive and a way for us to store them.

- For now, if we select your resume, you will be contacted within 5 business days and asked to come in for a personal interview. After filling out our application and skills assessment profile, if we feel we CANNOT place you on the job you applied for OR at any of our other client companies at this time, we will tell you! We will also give you pointers on your resume (if needed) and some advice on your job search. You will complete the process in approximately 30 minutes to one hour and can always reapply in the future.

- If we feel we CAN place you, there will be a more in-depth interview, testing, more paperwork and most definitely some level of background checking. This could take two or three hours. Sorry, we know it's a pain, but it must be done – particularly in this market – especially to get the job you want!

- Upon completion of the interview process, we will present you to the client for an interview on the position you applied for PLUS we will also consider you for our other current openings AND introduce you to clients that might be interested in you even if they don’t have a current opening listed.

- Your application will remain “live” in our system for 90 days until we place you OR if we do not place you, you will have the opportunity to review, update and reactivate your application for another 90 days or discontinue your search through Paige.
